A Graphic Artist with knowledge of editing print media as well as showcasing art in digital form. Has experience as a both a storyboarder for own content and as social media manager for organizations.
For the Women Texas Film Festival in Dallas, I was responsible for creating original text and photo content, managing posts and responding to followers prior and during the duration of the film festival. My management of the company image reflected the year’s prior voice as a cohesive way to promote our marketing goals. I also led a small team of interns to generate, edit, publish and share engaging content. By overseeing the social media accounts’ design and implementing new features, I was able to develop brand awareness.
With the Asian Film Festival of Dallas, I created web graphics, edited print media files, and designed a t-shirt for the 2019 festival year while acting as the lead intern overseeing a small team of volunteers. For AFFD's 19th annual festival in 2020, I fabricated and facilitated the look of the festival by implementing new typography, a fresh t-shirt design, and a consistent look across all advertising media in both print and digital format. My past experience as a volunteer, then intern, and finally stand-in theater manager, put me in a position as the Art Lead. I am currently under consideration to become Artistic Director and having a position on the Board of Members.
Creating original posts for all social media accounts to relay relevant information in a timely manner to followers is one of the many duties I am in charge of at the Congregation of YHWH in Irving, TX. I Maintain the email subscriber list to send out monthly newsletters as well as impromptu blasts. The current website was created and updated by me alone as the Webmaster.
Some of my many skills include fantastic written and verbal communication, strategic planning, being detail oriented, having interpersonal communication, multitasking, having a background in ethnographic anthropology, and being adaptable.
